Artist Linda Scholly inspired and enchanted us with her murals, paintings, sculptures, and other magic tricks at the annual Rags to Witches Halloween event at Ragdale. We had no choice but to lure her into our Artists Book House coven where she invited some ghastly creatures and haunting ghouls to the party!
Linda Scholly
Linda earned her BA in Fine Art from The Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. She also studied at The School of the Arts in Lacoste, France through The Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduation she worked as a freelance illustrator then as a muralist for several companies before starting her own. Linda and her team of artists decorated walls, ceilings, floors and furniture with Tromp l’oeil, murals, faux finishes and custom designs.
Linda is currently working on her own oil paintings as well as exploring other mediums such as encaustics. For years she poured her Halloween creativity into her home and now she has the opportunity to collaborate with fellow artists who are as obsessed about Halloween as she is, keeping her love for Halloween alive.
