Artists Book House Now Officially a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization!

Dear Friends,

I am excited to announce that Artists Book House is now officially a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization! The IRS has agreed that we are a Public Charity and contributions made to us after September 30th, 2019 are tax deductible (so we will be getting busy and writing thank-you letters to donors, at long last).

Now that we have achieved this coveted designation, we aim to use it for good. Although the pandemic may slow us down slightly, we are eager to get on with our mission of inspired bookishness for all. We hope that you have been enjoying the Quarantours and the public art in Evanston parks. We are not sure how long we'll have to operate at a distance from you all, but we will use the time to imagine and to plan a new book center.

I know that you have all been generous with the institutions and small businesses you love, to see them through this hard time. If you are able to send any funds our way, the IRS says you can write it off, hurrah! And thank you.

Sincerely,

Audrey Niffenegger
