Under the full moon, in the dark of night
Beware the bedeviled conservatory
If you witness the spectral birds take flight
You’ll be trapped in their haunted aviary
White and Ivory birds stretched from an egg shape into birds of prey or doves of peace will turn the glass room into an aviary with scattered nesting material wreaths and roping of Virginia Creeper vines and dried hydrangeas. Dried leaves on twisted vines will loop into dream catcher shapes with spider web interiors. Dangling spiraling roping hanging from the corners will create a sense of disarray and entanglement. Clusters of nestling horizontal doves are contrasted with individual vertical hawks stoically and eerily standing hither and yon. Each bird is five feet wide or tall in the enclosed space that will change scale and the way the viewer perceives themselves.
