If you stroll along the lake on a moonless night
The spirits may shimmer in the breakfast nook
Don’t cower or scurry; It’ll all be alright
They’re simply celebrating the artists’ book
The spirits come out at night...
Spirits peer out the bay windows of the breakfast room trying to see what’s going on in the world outside. Black vines grow around the windows as black birds and mice dance around the room. Black ripped fabric hangs from the ceiling. Some of the spirits have been chained to the room so they can not leave.
With a rumble and a rumpus, the party raged on
No humans to pester this motley skeleton crew
They wined and they dined until the cruelest light of dawn
And scattered off the table when a ghost shouted, “BOO!”
Party Animals
The dining room table has been set up with a deep burgundy satin tablecloth with black lace on top. Fine china and silver trays, tea pots and goblets finish the décor. A party of skeleton animals are drinking and eating and having a frightfully fun time. Dogs, cats, mice, spiders, and birds toast to a spooky night spent together.
