A murder of crows ascends the staircase together
An image made ominous by their ink-black feathers
But this flight does not portend a gloomy foretelling
There shines a hopeful future for this bookish dwelling
A Murder of Crows
Crows are black birds known for their intelligence and adaptability. The genus Corvus comprises crows, ravens and rooks. A group of crows is called a murder.
Our murder of crows cascade up the grand staircase of the future Artist Book House. Like all of us that believe in the vision of ABH, crows cleave together as a community for common cause. While appearing an ominous specter in the spirit of Halloween, this murder is not one of death but one of life and hope for the future of this new home of books.
